Yahoo announced today at the Black Hat security conference that it will introduce an optional setup for its email service this fall, according to The Wall Street Journal. Google showed off a PGP-based plugin for Gmail back in June. Forbes reports that Yahoo will modify the plugin for its own service. That would also allow users that have the plugin installed to communicate securely between Gmail and Yahoo accounts.
