How are British VC firms adapting to a shifting funding landscape and the challenges of a constrained talent market? It’s the lifeblood of the UK’s technology industry and yet the country’s venture capital sector doesn’t get anywhere near as much analysis as it perhaps should. A new report by James Clark for the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) attempts to redress this. Sure, it can’t be viewed as entirely impartial, coming as it does from a body representing the country’s VCs. Still, it’s a good read for anyone who follows the money in this most fascinating of industries....
